Thanks for Joing Us Today... 03/19/2022

Hello Neighbor,

It's that time of year again when we're ready to jumpstart into spring, and that includes spring cleaning. Time to stop groaning and think about where to start. There are a lot of small things you can do that can go a long way to brightening up your home. Start small and go for the big wins first. You don't have to conquer the world in one day, or clean your home for that matter. Make a check list of what you'd like to see done, then plan for an hour a day to work on one of the items on your list.

Although it is important to make sure that your home is clean at any given time, there are going to be times of the year when you want to do a more thorough cleaning. This is especially true in the spring, when it seems as if life is coming back into full swing again and we are preparing for the summer. There are many things that can be done during your spring cleaning but it is important for you to have a plan in place whether you are looking for a carpet cleaning tips or a carpet cleaning service to help guide you through the process.

Another thing that you can do to help make the process go as smoothly as possible is to have plenty of lists. You should have a list available for every room, including the process with which it is going to be cleaned. By marking things off of the list as you do them; it will help to give you a little bit of encouragement that you may actually be seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

Do you have any family members at the home? It is always a good idea for you to get them involved in the overall cleaning process as well. It doesn't matter if they are younger or older, there is something that they can do which will help to take the load off of you as the primary homemaker. Of course, you would want to oversee all of the projects that were being done so that they were done to your satisfaction. As long as everybody is on board and willing to help, you will find that it goes much faster for you and that there will be much more time to enjoy during the summer months.

Of course, there also going to be some extra chores that need to be done during this time of the year as well. Not only are you going to want to clean inside a house, you're also going to want to clean the outside of the home as well. This is especially the case if you tend to use your patio on a regular basis to enjoy time as a family or to entertain guests. Cleaning the patio furniture, washing the windows and cleaning the grill are all parts of the process that should not be ignored. By doing these extra projects at this time can help to keep you motivated to continue going.

Take delight in checking things off your list as you complete them. When broken down into manageable chunks, spring cleaning doesn't have to be the unpleasant labor it sounds like. Set realistic objectives for yourself and you'll be done in no time. Remember to reward yourself after each milestone... grab some hot chocolate and go for a walk with your sweetie, take a long hot bath in your freshly cleaned tub, or kick your feet up and watch a movie. Everything, including cleaning, should be done in moderation.
